The Aluminized Apron is purpose-built for high-temperature, splash-prone environments where molten metal, radiant heat and abrasion threaten worker safety. Its aluminized carbon-aramid outer layer reflects radiant heat and resists molten splash, while the FR, acid-resistant cotton lining keeps operators comfortable through demanding shifts.
Key Features & Performance Highlights
✓ Aluminized carbon-aramid outer shell
✓ D59 100% cotton FR and acid-resistant lining
✓ High mechanical strength
✓ Optimised fabric weight and thickness
✓ Abrasion, hydrolysis and delamination resistance
✓ FR hook and loop closure with aramid-thread construction

Shields the torso and upper legs from ferrous and non-ferrous molten splash during casting, pouring and handling tasks.Aluminized Carbon-Aramid Outer Shell
A carbon-aramid fabric system laminated with aluminized foil, engineered for high anti-molten-metal performance.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Provides outstanding protection against molten metal splash and radiant heat while maintaining structural durability.
D59 100% Cotton FR and Acid-Resistant Lining
An inner lining made from flame-retardant, acid-resistant cotton.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Enhances comfort and breathability while delivering an extra layer of thermal and chemical protection.
High Mechanical Strength
Fabric system with tear strength of ≥8 daN (warp) and ≥9 daN (weft), plus folding endurance of 500 UN in both directions.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Resists wear, flexing and mechanical stress in high-movement, heavy-duty industrial applications.
Optimised Fabric Weight and Thickness
Outer fabric weight of 515 g/m² ±30 with a 300 g/m² lining, and thickness of 0.75 mm ±0.06.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Balances robust thermal protection with manageable weight, supporting comfort and mobility through long shifts.
Abrasion, Hydrolysis and Delamination Resistance
Laminated aluminized foil system specifically engineered to resist abrasion, hydrolysis and delamination over time.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Extends product life and maintains reflective and protective performance under harsh, repetitive use.
FR Hook and Loop Closure with Aramid-Thread Construction
All trims and structural seams use inherent FR aramid thread and flame-resistant hook and loop fastenings.
Purpose-Engineered Benefit
Prevents seam or fastening failure when exposed to high heat, ensuring the apron remains secure during critical tasks.
